AMCo AWARDED SILVER IIP ACCREDITATION
AMCo has been awarded an Investors in People (IIP) Silver standard. IIP confirmed that AMCo are the first pharmaceutical company to reach this standard in the UK - with IIP having previously awarded two gold, seven bronze, and ten standard accreditations.
The award follows a period of significant growth and change in the business. As the UK's leading accreditation for business improvement through people management, AMCo used IIP as a way of creating an operating platform on which to move the business forward.
Commenting on the award, Marianne Dunn, Head of HR said: "To move forward successfully we have to continue to deliver the service our customers and partners should expect. IIP provided us with a sound basis on which to do that. We hope to find a similar framework of accreditation in other countries in which we operate, starting with India."
Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, said: "AMCo have demonstrated their ongoing commitment to realising the potential of their people, and are the first pharmaceutical company to have been awarded the Silver Investors in People accreditation in the UK. They should be proud of their achievement. It is the sign of a company which is very committed to good people management practice and we'd like to congratulate AMCo on their recent achievement."
